I suspect this is a logical paradox. If someone this sociopathic did have someone he cares about who suffers from not being the norm, he wouldn't care about that person, ergo he wouldn't have someone he cares about who suffers from not being the norm.

In any case I'm sure he is quite incapable of understanding your sentiment.

Ludwig van Beethoven.

What if we could determine exactly how each possible child a person could have? what if some people's potential children all had some problems?
Would it be better to prevent their birth?

What if we had done this back in the day? We would be in a world without Beethoven.

No, you seem to be referring to the bullshit anti-abortion Beethoven meme.

Completely debunked.

To be quite honest... I don't know if I ever believe there was a "jesus" as we know it. If there was, he wasn't likely the son of god.

But I think if none of "his teachings" came along, the dogma that would have been spread would have been another. I think it has more to do with where we are as a humanity.

If reason is the reasonable trait that will help humanity, and inevitably it will be what "survives" over dogma, then it is reason that will prevail and as a society evolves over time, it will become less dogmatic. So if dogma/religion helps a society in its current time of evolving morals and principles and understanding itself, then that is "where it was" or "where it is" and with time as it moves on past that, the dogma gets replaced with other ideas until ideas are found that work and are palatable.

At least, the more I look at things the more I see them that way. Because it seems with a single person this seems to be the case.

Anyway, what I'm getting at is that if the current religious teachings that are the most mainstream now were never invented, they'd like have been replaced with something else or similar ideas that we'd call "Thomasism" or "The teachings of Robert Alabubu" or something. And people would be shouting "Praise alabubu" and you'd be saying... "Oh for Robert's sake man!"

I dunno, just an early morning pondering for me.
