Horse Meat
I dont know how far this news has been spreading over the last month+ but I imagine that it could soon be investigated in most countries but it would appear that what people have been eating, which they have believed to have been beef... has either been in part, or made up mainly of horsemeat.

This story has been making the rounds in the UK but today they reported about the company Findus. Which has been discovered that their beef lasagne is in fact 100% horse.

Gotta love British humour.

Also, I feel much more sorry for the poor horsies, than for the people.

On a barely related note, in case someone is thinking about getting me a gift, that's the colour I want Heart

RE: Horse Meat
I saw this a couple of days ago - BBC reported it - Tuesday, I think.

I laughed. If one is going to eat meat, I have to think meat is meat. It's about as upsetting to me that people eat dog and cat. It is just another thing people eat that I don't. Drinking Beverage

RE: Horse Meat
I have no problem with eating horse meat. Though it tends to be tough, so it's best ground.

So many cats, so few good recipes.
