Hotline for new skeptics

Nice idea. Might help more come to grips with non-belief, and come out of the closet. I'm more encouraged about the future every day.

RE: Hotline for new skeptics
I think there are many of us here who would be good at this.

“I am quite sure now that often, very often, in matters concerning religion and politics a man’s reasoning powers are not above the monkey’s.”~Mark Twain
“Ocean: A body of water occupying about two-thirds of a world made for man - who has no gills.”~ Ambrose Bierce

Could be a great volunteer opportunity. From Recovering from Religion's site:
"If you want to help others along the journey of recovering from religion, and you understand the difference between compassion and conversion as well as empathy and evangelizing, you might be a good candidate to volunteer on the Hotline. We are NOT a “deconversion hotline”, and we won’t be debating callers. Most people who contact us have already made up their minds to reject supernatural beliefs on some level, and the rest are strongly reconsidering the role of religion in their lives"
