Two explosions is short succession - the landmark of terrorism, detonate one, wait for people to rush to help the injured and then detonate another...

More than 2 bombs it appears. They are still looking for more and are arranging controlled demolitions to pacify them.

All the cameras in Boston are tuned-in on the marathon routes and some are saying that these may have been bags placed next to the buildings in at least one of the cases. Hopefully the cameras caught something. It is hard to imagine with all the people there and all the cameras, that someone didn't catch a glimpse of something that will be useful.

Firefighters apparently found at least one undetonated device at a nearby busy intersection.

There are reports of several more devices; one has been detonated by the bomb squad.

At least 4, 2 detonated and one was exploded via controlled demolition. The other device is being dismantled apparently.
