Its either freedom or its not.

Believe me i love this woman; even amazed she got elected in Texas but is this abuse of her office?

In my opinion this is pretty close to abuse of office.

Trying to read further reports.
Actually, i see things like this as a set back.
If we accuse the church as being heavy handed ...bad response to use heavy handedness.

When I want your opinion I'll read your entrails.

The fucking preachers should be delighted that anyone wants to read their sermons. It's not as if churches are bursting at the seams anymore.

Atheism is NOT a Religion. It's A Personal Relationship With Reality!

First, I think it's clearly a blatant violation of the separation of Church and State. She backed off pretty quick.

Second, it was stupid as all fuck. All she did was give fuel to the fire for pastors to preach the persecution of Christians by the gays and point to her as an example. Drug test her.

There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. -Camus

Just for the record on this one:
1. These churches tried to get together a petition against a non-discrimination ordinance
2. The petition was dismissed due to a lack of signatures, and many signatures being ruled invalid
3. The churches sued to the city to have the petition accepted
4. The subpoena being discussed was issued by city lawyers during the discovery phase of the city's defence against being sued

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.
