What is broil?
All I can do in my place is put a pan on an electric stove and make the best of it.

So how long DO I keep them in the fridge?

Do you use olive oil for burgers there? I always add a lot of olive oil, garlic, chopped onions, oregano, paprika (do you have it there?) and a bit of cinnamon. If I feel like experimenting I may add cumin too. Mint can also give it a very interesting kick. Sometimes I also add little pieces of tomato or pepper and feta. The tomato gives it a... fluffier(?) texture.

I usually fry them but the grilled ones are the best. I don't know how to grill them though.

My best burger cooking method is to initially fry the burgers and then finish of in the grill. Don't over cook it with this method - you don't need long in the grill - just to give a charred flavour to the surface. The initial frying keeps the moisture in the burger by searing. When doing this add a little olive oil to the burger mixture.

This method works best for a really good steak. Get a good cut - the best is RibEye due to not being too tough & having enough fat for flavour but not too fatty.

Make sure any burger/steak is at room temperature before cooking.

30 mins to an hour would work.

It did actually.

The first time around I just put some meat and some spices in the press and pressed it.
It worked but wasn't great.

This time I put the meat, some onions and this basil-paste in a mixingbowl.
Stirred, pressed, chilled and baked.
They. Were. AWESOME!
FUCKING BASILBURGERS!

SMOKE that fucker with hickory. Get an R2D2-lookin' electric smoke-n-grill, just use it as a grill, and lay on the hickory til your neighbors dial 911.

Marinade the night before if you like, add your favorite spices and you're GOLDEN.

RE: How Do You Make a Delicious Burger?
I've started to buy more often now, steak burgers. (already made) They are a little pricier, but leaner, and yummier than when I make them myself. I also get ground chicken and add spices and stuff to it like veggies...and that's a really nice change.

I would love to find a decent veggie burger recipe. I've bought them premade, and they're kinda gross. :/

I am afraid to dash your hopes and crush your dreams, but a decent veggie burger is no more possible than perpetual motion. No

Laugh out load lol

I've had them at restaurants, seems like eggplant was the base veggie. Compared to meat? You would be right, there. Blush
