We're going to the Redstone Officer's Club for champagne brunch with my mom and dad. The O club here usually puts on a pretty elaborate spread for Easter brunch. At $30 a seat they ought to.

I'm gonna celebrate by stealing the Easter bunny's eggs and eating its unhatched babies.

The mini eggs are good. I like the malted milk ball eggs, too.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

I was invited to my sister's mother-in-law's home for dinner. I answer when free food calls.

My husband, children and I will go to Church. But we never make any celebrations at home.
It is very unusual for Mormons.
I am convert and my husband is convert. I am from Ukraine and he is from El Salvador. My family never celebrated any religious holidays. We were atheists. My husband hates his mother because she was very abusive.
We both grew up without any religious traditions.
Since we became Mormons we still continue our tradition not to have any traditions. Big Grin

RE: How are you 'celebrating' Easter?
I recently finished a nice outdoors calisthenics workout. I'm about to do some cleaning, and then later on, I'll probably watch some Columbo and maybe a movie or two.

In addition, today I've been pondering how to be more effective in a dialog that I've been having with an AF member who practices Christianity; however, IMO, neither one of us has really made a complete attempt to put himself in the other's skin and try to interpret the other's views via the other's way of thinking, which IMO, is a vital skill to have if one wants to effectively manage difference. As a result, I have been brushing up on some of the work I did while I was a student at a Christian university, so perhaps this might help me advance the dialog forward, or at the very least, show him that my attempt to understand him is sincere.

On that note, I'll probably go out with my family tonight and grab some dinner at a restaurant. Well, I hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Live long and prosper.
