How banks create money out of thin air.
I dont believe in god....... I wish not to take part in the manipulation that the insitutues dish out on a daily basis.

The world worships money though...... we all put "faith" into it.

DEBT FREE MONEY CREATION is what this world needs.

Carry on voting...... there are institues that hold more power and sway over goverment Confused

Hafnof, I see you have studied economy (as I did) and that you work with money every day (as I do), so can you please tell me what is wrong with this "conspiracies"?

I tell you, Project Mayhem is what we need to clear the worlds debt and start over.

I listened to a 3 hour lecture once that was exactly about this topic. The professor was great in explaining the whole thing and since this lecture I hate banks. Before I was just annoyed, since that I hate them. Sadly in the current society it is no option to not haveing a bank account.... :/

I like the bitcoin idea, though the computer power should be used for useful things like science research, therefore the money is created by something that creates wealth in the long run, but I'm just a dreamer Tongue

Sadly this is true Leela although there are a few small things you can do. Depending on what bank you are with you can transfer your account to a Co-operative bank..... they "promise" to invest there money more ethically.

The Co-operative Bank’s Ethical
Policy is based on extensive consultation with customers and reflects
their ethical concerns surrounding how their money should and should not
be invested. It also informs the The Co‑operative Bank's choice of
partners and suppliers.

The policy covers the following issues:
  • Human Rights
  • The Arms Trade
  • Corporate Responsibility and Global Trade
  • Genetic Modification
  • Social Enterprise
  • Ecological Impact
  • Animal Welfare
During 2005, The Co-operative Bank turned away some 30 businesses
whose activities were in conflict with their customers’ ethical
concerns. As a result, income worth some £10 million was denied to the
Bank. At the same time, significant monies were directed to businesses
whose activities were supportive of the Bank's customer’s ethical
priorities.

Depending on how much money you have coming in and if you feel safe about it what I do is when I get paid I withdraw all of my wages and keep it in a safe in my house. Big Grin

Whilst I agree partially with what you say regarding project mayhem Filox I have allways said that if everybody in the world actually knew how the banking industry worked......... then we wouldnt have a banking industry anymore Big Grin

Yes, as with everything else, the education is the prime key in this matter, if people knew the truth, they would act and demand things to change. That can be said for everything, from illegal weed, to monetary systems, it is all because of human ignorance and lack of will to learn more about the world that surrounds them.

So, if the sheep won't learn, the shepherds will lead them...
