Someone at a job way back started calling me Julep based on my initials and my Southern background.

Kusa is grass. You can walk on it or mow it down but it keeps growing back.

Don't cry for me Argentina. With exogenous supplementation I got testosterone levels higher than some super-buff 18 yo. :showsguns: :trapflex: Big Grin

Ok, you repped me, so, here goes: In a previous life not too long ago, I wrote a suspense novel (among others). I was inspired by the great Raymond Chandler and as you may know, his most famous protagonist was Philip Marlowe. So, when I was trying to come up with the name for my protagonist, who was a detective like Marlowe, I created a perfect anagram from his name and came up with William Hopper. He is the star of my book. There you have it.

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

The Minimalists are a school of scholars who think the bible is a pile of shit. I agree with them.

Atheism is NOT a Religion. It's A Personal Relationship With Reality!

Several years ago, when I was seriously into Middle Earth fan fiction, I needed a pen name before I could post on a LotR fan fiction website. Sindarin is the common Elven tongue in Middle Earth. My real name is Karl. Gwaithmir is one Sindarin translation of Karl. There are a few other variants, but this one sounded best.

When I signed up on Atheist Nexus and the Amazon forums I took this user name with me. I saw no reason to change it when I arrived at The Thinking Atheist.

Ultimately, I chose Karlmir Stonewain as my pen name, but that's another story. Wink

What's the elvish for Adrian?

So how did you manage your work if you lived on a mountainside for 40 years?
