"I know it when I see it."

I'm in it for the story, I want to care about these people as they experience the thrill of nature... all about the story.

RE: How do you feel about porn?
I don't agree with the loophole. Why is it legal for a corporation to pay people to have sex on camera, when it is illegal for an individual to pay for sex?

Consider that one act-the one that is illegal-fulfills a basic human need that some people would not get elsewhere. The other act- the legal one- takes that human need and essentially tortures the lonely by doing the equivalent of eating in front of starving people.

RE: How do you feel about porn?
Like dancefortwo said it's a lot better before I come, but then when I get horny again I forget that and can waste two hours on it if I'm really horny, which is pretty frequent.

I have concerns about girls being used by the sex industry. That would be the only source of guilt. I like to watch other people having sex when both are into it. Oh fuck I'm getting horny again.

RE: How do you feel about porn?
Porn has many different forms.

A) There is definitely porn where consenting adults are doing what they like; they enjoy sex/sexuality in a rather open manner, they enjoy the exhibitionism, they are not ashamed of what they are doing (e.g. they probably can tell their parents what they're doing and be happy about it), and they may even make a modest income doing it - or not.

B) Then there is definitely porn where it's really only about the money, or perhaps whatever is equivalent to money for that person (e.g. drugs). Or, as others have stated, they are being used by the industry. While these may be consenting adults, which is not always the case, making such a decision to sell the use of their body is not healthy for that person, period. I don't condemn them, but I do feel that it's extremely unfortunate that, for whatever the underlying reasons, a person has irrationally convinced themselves they have no better choice.

I enjoy (A), and am saddened by (B). To find good examples of (A), I unfortunately need to weed through (B). I kinda wish porn actors/actresses could present a seal of good mental health so I can more easily find them - perhaps that's as easy as asking, "do you have loving parents and can/have you informed them of your career/hobby to be in porn?" If so then awesome! Next question do you like performing xxxx Tongue

I've watched porn before and think the natural kind or amateurs is okay.

My reference to 'family porn' was not family involvement, though this porn does exist.

Soft porn, for couples, is very far removed from ultra hard core stuff and possible inherent dangers socially therein.

Why say that? RuthD didn't mention "family" anything. And why stipulate that porn involving family exists?

Unless it was just very poorly worded, your response there makes no sense.

... Or I could be sleep deprived and not reading it right, but I'd rather err on the side of 'not my fault'.

Actually I was responding to remarks further back in this thread.
No Ruth didn't mention that aspect, in fact the correct connotation is probably couple's porn.
I stand corrected!

That just begs the question as to why you said it in response to Ruth... Confused
