RE: How far back can you remember into childhood?
My earliest memory is being on the changing table. I described the entire room to my mother and where I was changed. When I told her I remember being on an ironing board she freaked out and knew I wasn't bullshitting. I was correct in all of my details and she said I was no older than two when that happened.

This is the first big news event I remember being on TV. I was six. It was announced when I was at school and all the teachers were real upset. My mom was flopped across the bed crying when I got home. I remember JohnJohn's salute and the veil over Jackie's face as she stood with Bobby and Ted Kennedy and the children, as well as the riderless caisson.

Remarkable.
I knew the assassination was an important event considering what it led to, but I never figured that it would have been so powerful at the time...

Retrospectively it must suck even more consider the line of presidents recently...

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

I can recall back to when I was about 5. I skinned my knee falling off of a bike, and got in trouble with my dad for peeing outside with a neighbor boy. To this day, I won't pee outside anymore. lol

RE: How far back can you remember into childhood?
I have a few memories which include my Mother's Mother's Father, who died when I was three. I remember catching minnows with one of his buckets to go fishing with, and I remember him setting me down on a fold out chair on his carport and him pointing out to me different birds. He had several birdfeeders in his front yard to attract them and enjoyed watching them on a daily basis, so I'm told.

My father says he can remember being in his crib.
