Depends on what you call a town. Out in the sticks we have a post office and some stores, but no town. It is very dispersed and there are a bunch of churches out here. Boggles the mind.

Portland Oregon is 13th in the list of the most chruch-LESS cities in the US. San Francisco is number one.

The northwest in one of the least religious areas of the US. I like living here for that reason.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Four. One each Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, and Uniting.

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.

Six churches - RC, Episcopal, UCC, UU, and two non-denominational - and a Catholic abbey - in a town of 6,500.

Two. At least one of them looks good - it was built in year 1302.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

There are 8 here and it seems like a low number considering the population.

I voted at a church and I'm aware of one other. I honestly have no idea if there are more churches, but I would expect that there are given the population and demographics of my area. Churches don't impact me, so that's probably why I don't notice them.

No clue, but there are 10 within a few miles of my house.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Using the Arda link Pablo shared, 177 in my current metro area for about 195k people. For my hometown's "micropolitan" area, 231, covering 3 counties, the largest city in which is my home town of 16k population. The micropolitan area of where I went to grad school is 214 for a county of 89k people.

Need to think of a witty signature.
