RE: How many churches are in your town/city?
I live in Florida, you don't want to know. One time, on a whim, I turned onto a semi-busy street and said to my wife, let's count how many churches are on this street. It was a random comment and I didn't even realize there were churches there. It was less than two miles long and we counted 17 churches or places or worship. True story.

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

Florida is where I was blessed at a cash register.

The lady ringing me out: "jesus blesses you!"

um, ooookay......

So how big is your so called town? I can see more churches than that from one intersection in most American towns.

There are about 500 churches in Dublin, but more importantly there are about 720 pubs / bars in Dublin. Cheers !

RE: How many churches are in your town/city?
A website that finds churches in cities tells me that there are 511 churches in the city where I live, for a total of one church per approximately 1240 people. However, I suspect that the count of churches that I'm using is low.
