RE: How many here have atheist parents?
My father is an atheist, my mum seems to be, but she never talks about religion and hates the church.

I also have a brother and a sister who are atheists and another sister who isn't a fan of the church, but she is an occasional "victim" of woo.

We generally never talked about religion in my house (and when we did, we made fun of it), but my grandmother was the one who made us Christians when we were little and took us to church and all that. If it wasn't for her, I'd probably be an atheist my whole life.

My mother is an atheist, my father a Christian.

Sorry, yes I should have done a poll. Not sure how to do that though 'cause I'm....like....dumb. Blush

My dad and step mom are Lutheran.

My birth mother seems to be unsure about her beliefs, but she keeps going back to them in casual conversation. So, given time, she might let go, but even if she did, she'd likely still be spiritual in some way. She tends to believe in weird things like ghosts, witchcraft, and Ouija boards. I could see her becoming something like a deist or pantheist.

They charge us money for a plastic bowl of soup, and some chichken with flakes of oats on the outside.
$50

Well that's a rip-off
and the chicken wasn't even good! It was undercooked. The soup was basically broth with a carrot in it. (One carrot)
They hired chefs, but I guess the cheffs were crappy.

My step-dad is an atheist, but he didn't tell me or my mother until a few years ago. My path towards atheism was a separate journey.
