RE: How old are you?
I am 33 years old, as of this date, May 7, 2011.

For God so loved the world that he arranged for everyone to both have free will and to suffer the terrible consequences of making the wrong choice. Kind of a dick move, God.

Don't worry, age doesn't matter. It feels like I was 17 yesterday, 27 now.
Main advantage is that I can drive and order alcohol now Tongue

But old enough to wear a budweiser hat (yes, I facebook you Tongue )

Awful beer though, you should try (the world renowned) Belgian beers when you're old enough. Or visit Belgium. The legal drinking age is 16 over here (and they don't even check).

RE: How old are you?
I am 53

The Christian God can easily be pictured as virtually the same God as the many ancient Gods of
past civilizations. The Christian God is a three headed monster cruel, vengeful, and capricious
......If one wishes to know more of this raging three headed beast-like god. one only needs to
look at the caliber of the people who say they serve him they are always of two classes fools an hypocrites

Why would a God create people so imperfect then blame them for there own imperfections.
Then send his own son to be judged, tortured, and killed by the very same imperfect people.
In order to make up for how imperfect we are?

RE: How old are you?
.

dog years?
whale years?
god years?

in the time of man, i came into this existence
it was before my passing because you can read this now (23 may 2011)
it has been, because we're speaking of the past, swift and turgid at once
distant and nothing to speak of in time

if i give this time a reduction in wine sauce years?
i'm half cooked
relatively speaking...

And I'm graying...aching every morning...thinking more about life...becoming more and more pedantic... Smile

As I say to my wife, "If I knew then what I know now, my life would be VERY different" (probably would have studied science, philosophy, and all the social sciences far more). Anyway, I have my kids to mold now... Smile

Yes, I'm young. Get over it. Tongue

Eighteen? Kudos to you, Unbeliever, for your clarity of thought and understanding of the world (as you have demonstrated). I only wish I could go back to being eighteen with your mind-set...I have only come to this point after my first son was born (approx. 6 1/2 years ago).

Keep up the good work! Smile

I have to give credit where credit is due: Bill Nye the Science Guy helps a lot. So does reading. Introduce your kids to reading as soon as you can. And the JREF.
Thanks for the compliment. Smile

I want to say Oh My God, but that seems inappropriate somehow... Anyway I love Bill Nye! You should watch Beakmans World it's even better! Oh and I'm 26
