You can’t, well you can with rational logical people but if someone wants to believe in the tooth fairy and goes at it with blind determination then nothing you can do will stop them from believing in it.

RE: How would you disprove god?
As I'm sure everyone knows it is impossible to disprove a negative. However if there was historical and anthropological evidence that God was a human invention and evolved from historical superstitions and combined into one monotheist God from many different Gods then surely this would prove that God is a human invention.
I'm quite confident Christians or other religious people would agree that Zeus/Apollo/Thor were all human inventions so what would make their God any different? Of course even if there was to be actual historical evidence that God was man made, it wouldn't proof that there was no god as it is still theoretically possible that a God could exist somewhere, even if it is a distant corner of the Universe that mankind will never discover but it would put God on a par with Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy.
For me history is the key for the best way to dis proofing God.

English is not my first language. If you think I am being mean, ask me. It could be just a wording problem.
