Yeah, I'm kind of on the fence about it, as yes the initial thought of "no more disease" [eventually] is amazing, and just insane, BUT one could argue that this goes against the evolutionary process and thus we are "playing god" to some sort of extent. One could argue that we play god everytime we take some medicine.

In this regard this is not different only more efficient.

This is a procedure that stops a disease.
It ends the suffering & death of individuals that may happen at some point in their lives.

This is a no brainier for me.
