Hypothetical Question Related to the Orientation of Objects on Earth Seen From Space
Let's suppose you're on a spacecraft and you look at the Earth and see a sight similar to the famed apollo 17 'blue marble' photograph

If you had a telescope powerful enough to see buildings in Spain, would they look upside down?

Yes, they would appear upside down.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

I would assume that you would see the tops of the buildings...

I was thinking that you would see the tops of buildings in South Africa, but once you start getting closer to the bottom of the sphere they would look upside down.

This is actually a trick question. Many (if not most) astronomical telescopes invert the image, so you will see it upside-down from what you would logically expect to see (if it were magnified but not inverted).
