RE: I HATE READING!
I have never really enjoyed reading. I haven't read a novel for fun in about 15 years. Oddly enough I like reading news articles, comments, and opinion pieces, or even informational shorts (spent hours reading about John Wilkes Booth and Jeffrey Dahmer). But I prefer to consume my entertainment in video game, or motion picture format.

I think there are a few "reading snobs" out there who make it seem like if you don't read you are uncultured or somehow less intelligent. But I consider it a hobby, like any other. Do it if you like it. Don't if you don't.

I prefer fantasy, but I have to live in reality.

I have this kind of argument with my officemate all the time. He's really into fishing, which I consider a total waste of time (especially since he's a "catch and release" guy -- he doesn't even get to eat the fish!). And I'm into chess, which he considers a total waste of time. Ultimately, anything we do is a waste of time, including reading, watching movies, playing video games, etc. None of it will matter at all after we're dead, or after the sun expands and incinerates the planet. So each of us should waste his/her time doing whatever trips your trigger!

Having said that, I really love to read. I don't have a lot of spare time, and I still average a book or two a week (plus newspaper, internet, and the occasional magazine).

RE: I HATE READING!
I often feel like I want to read things, but sometimes it starts to feel like a chore, probably because I don't retain a lot of information from the reading. It's difficult to actually get the benefits from it, unless I keep re-reading the same books, and lately I've been trying to find more books that I can always re-read.

Try some Calvin and Hobbes.

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.

I have the entire calvin and hobbes collection. It was a bit of a hobby of mine to collect the comic books when I was in elementary school.

RE: I HATE READING!
Since you're into porn, sci-fi and gaming, you might give my book, Kindred Lives a shot. It's adult rated with a fair amount of sex. It's a superhero fan fiction based primarily in the DC universe.

If you're not into superhero / comic book stories, then it might not be for you.

It's a lengthy story than spans a few lives. Right around 600 pages with 60 chapters. It's free online to read and does contain some adult rated pictures here and there. I also plan to incorporate music links before certain scenes to give the reader a taste of what's to come or to describe a mood.

You can search Kindredlives on Facebook or follow the links in the discussion topic a few below that reads
Kindred Lives - my first book.

If you don't like the first 10 pages, you get all your money back for free. Smile

Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
