I debate with a Christian Coworker and his answers are at least odd
I once asked him how the animals survived after coming off the ark. His answer was Noah had enough herbivores for the carnivores to survive until the wild population of both were stable.

... And the herbivores survived on seaweed and algae...

Huh ooookay

How did the carnivores survive the trip even? There was no mention of extra animals being taken just for food.

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

Would extra animals just for food be considered fodder?

How did polar bears get back to the arctic?
How did penguins get back to the antarctic?
How did marsupials like Kangaroos get to Australia?

Why is he worshipping the most prolific murderer of all time? It's one thing to believe this really happened, it's another to think that God is somehow the hero of the piece.

I was going to ask this but our boss shot us the look. I wonder what crazy answer he would give me.

How did the freshwater and saltwater creatures survive the waters mixing?

How did corals and reefs in general survive the very sudden transition of going from shallow to incredibly deep water?

Furthermore, how did anything survive being vaporized by the sheer force and volume of water necessary to coat the entire Earth in 40 days?

Edit: also, having extra animals just for carnivores compounds the space problems the ark would already be having. And what of special diets? Some animals exclusively depend on one or a couple food sources.

For instance, my lizards (2 anoles) eat a variety of insects smaller than their heads. Because they live in a terrarium they need vitamin supplements and a specialized UVB light that'll help them metabolize calcium. They also need SPECIFIC temperatures to allow them to metabolize their food. Otherwise they starve.

I highly doubt Noah had the technology to imitate natural sunlight and appropriate heat for lizards in general--they vary by A LOT. And hats off to him if he could even properly store fruit flies.

Ignorance is not to be ignored.

Poor thing was homeschooled "to be saved from the evil of public secular education and contraception!" His parents told him and his siblings that condoms aren't right and not to use them.

Damn, he has my sympathy. 1 year of homeschooling and 2 of private middle school was bad enough for me.

Hopefully yours and our questions will get him to do his own learning.
