I got a strange giggle out of this.
This really isn't funny, and it's more of a "had to be there" type of thing... but what the heck... I'm on a roll right now.

So, in my line of work, I have to look at terms and conditions and make sure everything is cool between my company and they guys we're doing business with.

Without fail... no matter how we ask... we'll always receive the T&Cs in PDF format instead of Word format. This requires me to convert the PDF into a Word file via Acrobat Pro. For the most part, the conversion is really clean.

Sometimes, though... you'll get an ugly PDF and you just know it's going to be a bad conversation. Pictures and logos are especially interesting when they get converted.

I'm working on a job for a customer currently, and I converted their PDF.

Their logo made me laugh. It's probably the Fioricets, but I got a good chuckle and so did my boss.

When I converted the logo into Word format, the customer became

FU Incorporated, LLC.

Was their logo a middle finger by any chance? Maybe a troll face?

My favourite two company names have got to be...

1. TTM&R
... which does (or did) actually stand for Take The Money and Run

2. VIA GRAFIX
... and as we only had space for 9 characters on our supplier database this became VIAGRAFIX

I would guess that they changed the name after the pill was invented.
