I think I am as antsy as I was when waiting for my test results along the way.

Hugs...lots of hugs.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

RE: I have survived toughest year. Still in danger, but still alive.
Well I just had a serious meeting with the head of heamatology at RPA and other doctors. Very serious indeed with many frowns. Smile

My disease has returned with a vengeance and it looks like I will not survive. The professor described my chances as "Grim!"

They are unsure what to do having gone through everything in the past. This is why I was sent home. Frankly, they are at a loss as of what to do. I expect to be readmitted within the next few days.

Now I must call my father, nephew and send a Whatsapp message to my brother in Thailand.

Then I must call # 1 student's dad. My student's name is Taso and we are incredibly close. When he first learned of my illness he bolted from class and locked himself in the music room. They could not get him out for two hours and had to call his mum. This is going to really hurt Taso. Sad

Now I am alone until next week.

Nephew just called and I told him. Strange, he is in denial.

This sucks!

But I WILL fight! I have done it before. Smile

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Physically, maybe, but there are many people here pulling for you and willing to listen if you need to vent. Rage on against the night.

If I were there, I'd give you a huge hug and someone would have to pull me off.

Don't know what to say. You'll keep fighting and probably shock the crap out of them. Heart

You know how to reach me. Love you!

RE: I have survived toughest year. Still in danger, but still alive.
Thanks guys. It is an odd sensation. I have had it before last year. But that meeting was not as solemn as this one.

It probably does not come across in print but people really like me. These doctors were very upset. I tend to lighten situations and make people happy. It is how I survived so many years of touring. The band members kept laughing. You know?

I spoke with Taso's dad and he wants to hide the information from Taso. Taso is now in a great band and is so very happy. I told him of course I understand.

Those phone calls were tough. My 86 year old dad is coming by.

Just received the following Whatsapp message from my brother "Fucking Hell!"

I just informed my 87 year old father. He took it well I think. I have decided to go to a nice south American restaurant for dinner. WTF right?

Started with a Hennesy cognac. Smile
