Gravity sucks. I am trying mate.

I remember the Sinatra thing and there was more to it. Basically he did not hire a support act. However, he was chased pillar to post by the media! Seriously like car chases. He swore he'd never return. He did soon before he died and my drum teacher played with him. And my other mate owns the original kit from his first tour.

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Sitting next to her was another Australian actor, Wayne Pygram. He was telling us the story about why Frank Sinatra didn't like Australia.

There's a law in Australia that requires foreign acts to have a certain percentage of Australian workers. Sinatra and his people didn't like this. They hadn't even bothered to research the law there.

So in some entertainment circles, Sinatra didn't have a very good reputation. As Pygram said, Australians are a working country. If you don't like it, don't perform there!

In SOME entertainment circles? Laugh out load

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

RE: I have survived toughest year. Still in danger, but still alive.
I've read countless accounts of Sinatra sessions. He'd let the band warm up, come in and say "Let's do it boys" and get everything first take. And he had perfect pitch and could tell if any instrument was slightly out of tune.

There are some classic stories of him and Buddy Rich when they were with Dorsey and sharing a hotel room for two years.

But I won't bore you with those. Smile

From what I've read he was good to his fellow musicians but woe to anyone who got on his bad side.

He had Buddy beaten up for showing him up on stage!

Frank also only had sex to his own recordings!

I have a connection through drummers to Frank and know many stories. Smile

Pro musicians share stories that the public never hears. Wink

And I can't help but wonder now, Willie McBride,

Well the suffering, the sorrow, the glory, the shame,
The killing, the dying, it was all done in vain,
For Willie McBride, it all happened again,
And again, and again, and again, and again.
