I was trying to be nice to Sinatra and fans.

Because I've never been a fan of his.

It is the serviceman and woman, possibly having joined up through social pressure or in an effort to better oneself, who takes the bullet.

Not the Tory politician and billionaire profiting from every bullet fired and life taken. For what? Them?

From Eric Bogle, the Scot transplanted to Oz:

And I can't help but wonder now, Willie McBride,
Do all those who lie here know why they died?
Did you really believe them when they told you "The Cause"?
Did you really believe that this war would end wars?

Well the suffering, the sorrow, the glory, the shame,
The killing, the dying, it was all done in vain,
For Willie McBride, it all happened again,
And again, and again, and again, and again.

This sums up my feelings Chas and is all I meant.

Thanks. Dale

Hope tomorrow finds you well.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Good night.

I must gather my second load of washing. It's 98F here today. It is cool in the flat and easier to stay indoors. Big Grin

Hi mate.

I am okay. Went to dinner and had a martini and a glass of wine. So am flying.

Here is a picture from 7.15pm Sydney when I went to dinner.

Nah mate I went to a Vietnamese restaurant. And the food was great. I was not hungry at all, but it got me out of the flat. Smile

That pic is looking back toward the staircase that scares me.
