I'm very pleased by this news mate. But it's hardly surprising what happens when you put a cancer and an Aussie in the same body. Naturally the Aussie comes out on top.

Thank you everyone. Although you bring a tear to my eye.

Yes the lumbar punctures and biopsies will continue. Possibly for the rest of my life. However, it is a small price to pay to watch my niece grow up.

The true test will be in February 2017 when they fully remove the drug. Will my remission end? I don't know. Nobody does. But as my father said in regards to my niece, "at least we got to meet her".

And that is a fine thing.
