The bass player has offered to be my roadie and supply the kit. I will supply the vintage snare drum. Smile

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Thanks mate. Will do.

I expressed my doubts to some good drummers and they reckon I am being silly. I'll just forget about worrying, it wont help anyway, and just play. As it turns out fine musos have turned down gigs to play with me. It is NOT a gig after all. These guys are taking a Friday night off just to help me out.

People are amazing and I am very lucky. Smile

Take some of the credit for yourself. You tend to get what you give and you've obviously made a good impression on many. That says a great deal.

From what little I know of you. I suspect that you are getting back a bit of what you have given over the years. I'm really looking forward to hearing all about it.

Thanks Unfogged.

I've put in 42 hours practice on my hands since Thursday. They should be ok. My feet are probably gonna take a while to warm up. But all these guys know me and that I've been a bit crook. So it'll be fun. I'll take some pic's. Smile

May I indulge you all, wish me luck? Wink
