Baron Nathan Mayer Rothschild

This Rothschild probably had chests full of gold coins in his possession like the comic book character Scrooge McDuck (or like Ron Paul?). Yet he reportedly died in 1836 from an unspecified "abscess" which modern medicine could cure with antibiotics costing literally pocket change.

That puts this fellow's alleged "control" into perspective, doesn't it? Money can only take you so far against biology in a given historical context, as billionaire Steve Jobs has apparently discovered about his cancer.

Yes there is allways limitations to the super rich......things that money cannot buy like health, happiness and love.

I just think it odd that JFK was very nearly ready to introduce his own currency that bypassed the federal reserve when he got killed.......and why the scheme was never continued after his tragic death???

For no matter how much I use these symbols, to describe symptoms of my existence.
You are your own emphasis.
So I say nothing.

Um... no? Everybody dies of something, sooner or later. That doesn't mitigate the control - for ill or good - they exercised in life. The perspective for them personally is quite different from the historical perspective we have of them. That Rothschild left a big footprint on history.

The more i see of Republican candidates, the more i come to agree Ron Paul is the sanest and least dishonest of a hair-raisingly insane and evil lot. If he managed to end the stupid wars, that alone would be worth whatever carnage he wreaked in social services -
because any of them will wreck social services.

Like, did FUX news and the Repubs just declare all-out war on the poor? Are they taking it for granted that 51% of Americans have so completely given up on the system that they won't ever vote again, no matter how much you abuse them? Is this assumption correct? -
And do the teapots, crackpots, despots and tin-pots then proceed the next assumption, less supported by history, that the abused poor won't ever fight back by non-democratic means?

If you pray to anything, you're prey to anything.

America has a subculture of cranks who attribute all kinds of superpowers to Rothschild-like people, like how they somehow implanted explosives in the WTC, they cause earthquakes in places like Haiti and Japan, they want to "depopulate" the world through vaccination, etc. Alex Jones promotes this nuttery every day. He even makes videos of himself in bed in the middle of the night sometimes, apparently without wearing any clothes. Jones has a massive following on the internet, and not surprisingly he likes Ron Paul. These super-rich people in paranoid fantasies like Jones's take a shit every day like everyone else, and the richest man in the world could slip on a patch of ice at Davos and die from head trauma just as easily as a homeless guy. I don't see why some people make a big deal out them when the super-rich have only a superficial ability to order a few people around.

They don't need superpowers - just money. Owning the government and the means of production; controlling the flow of trade and credit are quite, quite sufficient powers. All that other crock'o'shit is eyewash, misdirection. Ordering a few superficial people around results in millions of invisible other people around the world going hungry, thirsty and unvaccinated. One mega-rich patriarch stepping on a patch of ice (somewhat less likely to than a homeless guy, but okay) does in no way decelerate the corporate activities he'd already set in train, nor diminish the power of his enterprises.

The biggest problem with Libertarianism is that its philosophical foundation is a level playing-field... which can only be brought about by the exact opposite of their platforms.
A secondary problem is that a gutted government won't be able to guarantee the value and safety of their asse(t)s.

If you pray to anything, you're prey to anything.

RE: I hope Ron Paul becomes President.
Libertariansm works great for rich people, who can buy whatever they need regarding health care, security, insurance, etc., and don't require social security in their old age. As for the middle class and poor, the government has a very important role to play in providing needed services that can be the difference between life and death or a long, slow, miserable existence, or being abused by employers, etc. The Ron Paul philosophy is that the government should have no role in regulating business or taxing incomes. Just because he wants to end the wars immediately does not make him a wonderful guy with a heart of gold or a progressive, which seems to be a common misconception about him. This guy thinks the poor should just suffer and die if they can't pay for medical care and the old should just suffer and die if they didn't save for their retirement. He's no less a heartless monster than the other Republican candidates. The only reason he wants to stop the wars is because they are expensive, and he want to cut taxes. It's not because he feels for the soldiers and their families, it's because he wants to stop taxing the rich and corporations altogether and you can't do that when you have the biggest defense budget on the planet. So vote for Ron Paul if you want, but I hope you are a multimillionaire who's companies or the companies you invest in do not rely on any government contracts or government spending for their business before he takes power.

You've been sucking at the teet of our socialistic, control everything from cradle to grave, mooch from the producers, all your assets go to the government when you die, welfare state for too long. Dr. Paul never said the poor or old should suffer and die. He did say people should be responsible for their lives.

Such arrogance and ignorance passed off as humility and justice.
Makes me sick.
