RE: I'm Protesting Your Protest
Uh, since when are people not allowed to be shocked by an election result? I wasn't aware there was some rule about that. By the way, Donald lost the popular vote. And by the way, if you think using scare tactics, such as claiming Clinton will let 650 million refugees into the country is winning "fair and square" , or claiming Obama isn't a U.S. citizen to appeal to his racist fans, I have news for you.

He is so far removed from the typical American middle class family, he literally gives two fucks about them. This presidency is all about Donald and what's good for Donald. His supporters don't realize how hard he is about to fuck them. He also doesn't act in a level-headed manner--which is something we need in a president, especially when dealing with diplomacy. That in itself is scary. Whether HC was a good choice or not, you can't expect people to sit back and be quiet when the country elected someone like him.

Well hillary was garbage. You guys were so excited for a female president that you ignored her dangerous(more than trumps actually) flaws and he ended up winning.

Also note, if you keep calling people sexist and racist when they aren't they will turn against you.

Never had a president like him????

Well -- we've had just as bad.....

Ronnie Raygun was a scary fuck -- that a lot of people were convinced would get us into another world war......

Bush (1st) was director of the CIA for crissakes --- (think Putin)....

....

We survived them - we'll survive Trump -- and likely, we'll survive somebody worse some day....

There have definitely been some scary fucks as president. The difference is that Donald is all about Donald (and if that wasn't enough, he's also a hate monger) which means he is only going to be looking out for himself and not what is best for the American people.

I don't give a crap that my candidate lost or that a Republican won. It's Donald Trump specifically and what he stands for that bothers me. And it should also bother any American because much of it contradicts the very foundations that our country is built upon.

By the way, it's going to take something major to fix our political system. Sitting by and passively accepting things the way they are won't change anything. It's next to impossible for any 3rd party candidate to have a any real chance. I don't have the answers, but it's obvious the acceptance isn't it. Protests may be a start as long as they remain peaceful.

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

Not my president either since I'm planning on leaving the U.S. of Luxury Hotel and Casino. Wink

The conspiracy speculation that crossed my mind this morning was that Trump's claims of elections rigging were made deliberately and with the intention of provoking a multi-tiered pre-election defense of the integrity of the forthcoming results. In that way, no one would be able to claim (or even contemplative the possibility) that Russian hackers had manipulated the voting machines, when that was the plan all along: an Electoral College win with enough of the Clinton vote allowed to remain so it looked close. (In this scenario the pollsters had the right data all along, the projections were correct, but we didn't allow for Trump being a traitor, not simply a Putin lapdog.)

Not a serious theory, of course, but I think with the right bells and whistles attached, it might fly all over the internet, if anyone cares to launch it. Dodgy

1. I didn't support Hillary Clinton. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary, and I still think he would have easily beaten Trump. I voted for Clinton on Tuesday only because Trump was by far the greater evil.

2. If Trump isn't sexist and racist, nobody is and those words have no meaning. I have no problem calling someone sexist and racist when he obviously is both of those things.

How someone could possibly think Trump is not sexist or racist is beyond me.
