Of course, they are sportsman.

Gentlemanly behaviour is hardly looked for.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

Invalid. Steelers were still better because they made it to the SB.

All-time record
49ers = 530-427-15
Steelers = 560-508-20
Winning percentage = 55% for the 49ers and a point to them (52% for the Steelers)

Niners established 1946, Steelers established 1933 and includes WWII years when nobody was playing. Compare apples to apples.

Rice played longer, too.

Spelling point to Steelers. It's Chuck NOLL.

Best uniforms:

#1 First-Round Draft Picks
Niners: 3 (last in 2005)

Slight edge Steelers (Bradshaw vs Smith/HOF vs Going to Lose My Job)

See how that's done?

RE: I'm done
Adding in subjective categories like uniforms is irrelevant.

The fact that a player played longer speaks to how much better they were. Keep in mind that Pittsburgh cut him before he retired.

The reason I used winning percentages and not number of wins is because of the difference in when they were established. Time has no impact on winning percentage, it is only number of wins plus half of the ties, divided by total number of games.

I'll give you playoff appearances, but #1 picks doesn't make any sense. The last one for the niners is certainly a bust as of now, and Bradshaw won several Superbowls, so maybe the edge goes there. But look at best draft picks all time and you end up with 2 of the greatest quarterbacks (Montana and Young), and the greatest receiver (Rice). The Steelers have Bradshaw and Lynn Swan, but they didn't draft Bettis and as good as Hines Ward was, he can't hold a flame to Rice. And let's not forget the success (ha) of one of the more recent QB busts for the Steelers either, Kordell Stewart.

Favor is still with the 49ers

Also, current Pro Bowl selection shows 15 49ers selected and only 6 Steelers

Pro Bowl is a joke. Let's see how many of either team actually show up.

Best draft class EVER: Swann, Lambert, Webster, Harris.

Who's cherry-picking stats now?

49ers 2007 class = Patrick Willis, Joe Staley, Goldson and Hill

Ladies, ladies please!

Both your favourite sports teams wear pretty uniforms.

Now get back to the hijacked topic.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.
