Lightbulb I need a question for Richard Dawkins
In just over 48 hours, I will be attending a book-signing/presentation by the one and only Richard Dawkins. When I attended one with Michio Kaku (gratuitous name-dropping), he had incorporated a Q&A portion and I can only assume (hope) that Dawkins might do the same.

I'd like to have something ready on the off-chance that I have such an opportunity, but at this point I have nothing. Huh

So, give me questions that I could ask and I will gladly post his answer.

You might ask how does he justify being a pompous ass. Maybe it is me and his english public school accent but I do find it difficult to think of him as something other than an elitist snob.

I think I'll wait for a better question.

British accent =/= to snob.

And the guy is fucking smart as hell as well as extremely charismatic, highly educated he's a truly great thinker of our day.
What I guess I'm saying is, he is better than most people. Tongue

"Professor Dawkins, Where do you see evolutionary biology in 10 years time?"

RE: I need a question for Richard Dawkins
Will evolutionary biology provide us models sufficient to predict future speciation?

What role will deliberate manipulation of genes play in the future of evolution?

How flexible can our own genome be in the hands of creative engineers... could we someday twiddle genes to regrow limbs? Organs? Add or enhance sensory modalities? Could a human, or a person based on human genes, ever photosynthesize?

I AM he who is called... cat furniture.

This. I'd like to hear him respond to this question.

How about:

Do you think that the dangers of monoculture crops are underestimated?
