Try reading the Bible. Figure out what it says...not what someone else tells you it says.

Reading the Bible won't help me solve presuppositionalism. See, the whole point of Christianity is that your thoughts and emotions have no basis without God, and are controlled by God, so arguing against the Bible is a contradiction (according to them).

And you swallowed that crap hook, line, and sinker.

I'm determined to know the truth, and Sye Ten seems to prove that I can't do that without God.

Unless Sye Ten has a shock collar on you I don't see why you are determined to be HIS slave.

Buh bye...again.

I'm not determined to be his slave, I just can't escape his arguments. Sadcryface2

Have you tried not listening to his arguments?

According to science, I must. Doesn't science say that not listening to counterarguments is dishonest?

No, that's not what science says. Science is a methodology based on evidence.

Sye Ten ain't got squat for evidence.

No, he argues that everyone who isn't Christian does that. He's not trying to prove Christianity, he's trying to disprove non-Christianity.

Those are logically equivalent if you assume his false dichotomy.

All of the apologists' arguments are logically unsound. Do some research.

People need to be able to understand the difference between the soundness of the argument and the validity of the argument. Soundness is primary.

If your thoughts are "controlled by god" you can kiss free will "buh-bye".
Facepalm

(And BTW, there is NOWHERE that Christianity says that).

See my post towards the bottom of page 5. Sye Ten's argument is a red herring.

Diddo, I'm very confused.

Are you afraid of G-d? Are you trying to wean yourself out of Christianity, and are having your progress impeded by people like Sye Ten?

.... Oh, and I'm unclear about what Sye Ten's goal is. Is he trying to get people to generally believe in G-d or does he tell people they're going to hell if they don't believe in Jesus?

He tells people they're going to hell if they don't believe in Jesus. His view is that everyone knows that God exists and that everyone deserves to go to hell.
