Consider the religion with the leaders and supporters that uses their power to invade and occupy ENTIRE countries Drinking Beverage

But that is a stupid game. I'm not going to blame all Christians and its sects for a relative few... no matter how many in the hundreds of thousands the body counts are Dodgy

Oh for fuck's sake, Iraq had nothing to do with the idiot puppet doing the press conferences.

America's habit of fucking over the world for selfish gain is hardly religious. Religion does get the masses behind a "cause" in a hurry, though.

I blame a dying sense of nationalism more than Christianity. Americans, especially those born from 1950-1980 are engrained with a sense of pride in country. No matter what the US does it's right because it's not communist, socialist, or muslim.

Are you saying that if the middle east countries weren't invaded, occupied, had populations radicalized by outside powers to fight the ottomans or soviets, or had democratic institutions overthrown and suppressed for greater control of the region... that peoples wouldn't have been radicalized and used their local religions as a unifying force?

I agree. Religions are an excuse.

That, and it's what nearly every entity, from the ancient empires on up to the present nations, that have found themselves with the biggest "stick", do. Human nature, and all that jazz.

Lady when you're with me I'm smiling
Give me all your love
Your hands build me up when I'm sinking
Touch me and my troubles all fade

Lady from the moment I saw you standing all alone
You gave all the love that I needed
So shy like a child who had grown
You're my

Lady of the morning
Love shines in your eyes
Sparkling, clear and lovely
You're my lady

Lady turn me on when I'm lonely
show me all your charms
Evenings when you lay down beside me
Just take me gently into your arms
You're my.

Lady of the morning
Love shines in your eyes
Sparkling, clear and lovely
You're my lady

Lady of the morning
Love shines in your eyes
Sparkling, clear and lovely
You're my lady

It's funny that you posted while I'm watching Big Daddy.

Yup. Rome, Britain, every world power ever.

It's just the US's turn to be the global dick.

Just history repeating itself. Nothing to be surprised at, but it still makes me sad. Humanity should know better by now.

I blame islam. Tongue

They are equally idiotic.
Neither Mohammed or Jebus, probably really existed.
Islam claims that Allah is Yahweh, by another name, so they say they worship the same god.
Yahweh is the Babylonian war god.
Allah is the Arabian moon god, named for his old crescent moon phase.

What's the diff ?

Well in terms of how stupid is it to believe in it, there's not a whole lot of difference. Not quite what the conversation is about though.
