Ever wake up and just feel terrible? Not even in a sick sense, just you feel sad, like you just want to sulk around?

I just...ugh.

Maybe I'm still reeling from failing my driver's test again.

Yes - it usually follows rather extraordinary evenings where large frothy drinks are served.

....

Driving test?? What part is problematic? Written or driving????

Hug

Yes.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I think this type of feeling happens to everyone. I am sorry about your driver's test--I know it sucks. I am sure you'll do better the next time around. Smile

Right now it's the driving part, but the written part gave me plenty of annoyance when I had to go through it.

Thanks. That's kind of my problem, though. I wouldn't be feeling so bad about it if it weren't for the fact that I have a limited amount of "next times". I go to college four hours away in twenty one days and I'd really like to have a car with me. It usually takes like a week to schedule a new test, at best. So, clock's ticking.

Also, my younger brother took the test immediately after me and got it, so that feels pretty sucky.

There's no substitute in learning an eye/hand coordinated task (which driving is) than practice. None, zip, zero.

Get out and drive till you're sick of it (with a licensed driver of course).

Stay out of heavy traffic as much as practical - and concentrate on the driving. No food, drinks, loud music, unnecessary talking.... Just drive.

You'll get it....

That's right ... that will take you to Carnegie Hall.

If I has a sad, me pours beer on it! Big Grin

Although, maybe not the best choice of action on a work day!
