Ok, let's expand the parameters to share any "delusions" you previously held onto. In this thread there should be neither Male or Female, Slave or Free, Jew or Gentile, let us all be the body of agnostic atheists together. Smile

When I was a kid I used to pray for Rachel Leigh Cook. This was before I really knew what god was and I just prayed becasue that's what people did.

That's really about as goofy as it gets.

It's tough to share that kind of stuff now, isn't it? Facepalm indeed!

How long ago did you write this?

Just curious. Why Gwyneth Paltrow?

RE: I was, but I'm not anymore
When I was at uni I became a bit of a crazy Christian for a while... this was after having been an atheist from my teens - I suddenly thought 'I wonder if I've really thought about this stuff properly'... after a few years I managed to sort out that, yes, I really am an atheist and no, Christianity makes no sense whatsoever... but it was quite a long hard road. I was never really convinced or convincing though - I tended to get quite shirty with pastors for preaching crap and so on, I think they were all pretty relieved when I decided they were all charlatans and renounced Christianity (I tended to bounce from church to church). Still took me years to tell my parents - as far as they were concerned I'd always been a Christian Tongue

If Rache is a problem now, you might not want to draw her. Wink
