Coupled with your absurd statement on the difference between Germans and Muslims

You seem to forget that many Germans ARE Muslims.

A citizen of the German republic is a person in recognition of the values, principles and laws of the republic. A person who accepts that he lives within a set of values.

And I do not considere any individual who opposes those values and seeks to overthrow these values as a fellow citizen.

Damn dude. You oughtta emigrate to 'Murica and run for office. I mean not in my State of Maryland where you'd be laughed off the ballot but I'm thinking you'd do well in any State south of Virginia. ... wait a second. You're not fooling Girly that easily with that dry sardonic German wit. You're making fun of us ain't you. ... Kraut bastards.

I'll watch and rewatch every beheading and burning they care to post. When the time comes to pull the trigger, I want those images fresh on my mind.

Obama is set to ask congress for permission to get this fight underway. And if they want us to get it done, they won't tie or hands behind our backs with an impossible political agenda.

Turkey has the military to put this dog down now. But as a member of NATO they gotta be conscience of not inadvertently starting WWWIII. If I were Obama and Congress granted me War Powers I'd convince NATO and Turkey to put boots on the ground. I got your back, I got your air, I got your intel and it is your backyard after all.

The Kurds would hate that. Since Turkey would need to go through Kurdistan... I mean "Northern Iraq" to reach the fighting I could see the Kurds feeling invaded and fighting again the Turks. No good would come from that at all.

Could you personally do that to someone who was begging you not to? Or what, go raa raa on the sidelines while some other schmuck dismembers them? Either one is pretty goddamn disturbing to my mind and as I've said before - what makes you better than them then? Sure, you can say "but they started it, they killed people in horrible ways first, and celebrated, they deserve it" - who the fuck is "they". In 10 years time will anyone care that "they" started it and you're the good guy? When both sides are killing and torturing and celebrating there's no justification.

You can either lose the idea that you're the good guy, admit that you're a fucken savage just like them and go at it hammer and tongs, or if you want to *actually* be the good guy you don't sink to that level.

Yeah sorry, I sort of snap when I see innocent people tortured, that is why I don't watch certain things.

Oh and I am in america, we aren't good, just the lesser of the two evils.

No True German

Nope.

The definition of what it means to be a citizen. Being part of a civilised community comes with the responsibility to accept legal framework which guarantees the equality of all.

If you think some are less equal than others or that the notions of uqality should be overturned so you can go out and burn people alive you lose all rights to be considered part of the community.

In NZ, being a citizen means holding a citizenship in that country. You are free to think what you want, free to disagree with the government, free to disagree with the law, free to speak up about your disagreement, free to vote for change.
In NZ even Socialists are citizens, even Communists, even Anarchists and Capitalists, even Muslims, Christians and atheists.

From what you are saying, Germany sounds fucked up.

I don't however think Germany is that fucked up. I disbelieve what you are saying about Germany.

BTW a very, very very small sub group of the Muslim faith are burning people up. There are many Muslims who have no interest whatsoever to do violent things to other people.

Have you never read Omar Khayyam? For a *long time* the Arabic world was far more civilised than the West. Although I will grant you not much advances in womens' rights and that sorta thing Dodgy These things were gifts to the West in renaissance times... Sadly... fundamentalism has taken over in a number of places and I can't offhand name any advances in recent times. But it's far from 800 years of savagery.

Algebra was given to the world by Indians. And the socalled "arabic numerals" are in fact from India aswell.
All those mathematical milestones which people claim to originate from the Arab world are in fact from India.

India has given the world all sorts of things that others try to take credit for; like civilization, "Arabic" numerals, almost all of modern mathematics and the Indo-European languages.
