His name is Robert Paulson.

Love old Human League stuff. Back in his college days, my uncle was as dj. He mixed me a CD for my last birthday. There is NOTHING like dance music from the mid 1980's. My CD has 3 copies of these going at the same time. Amazing. So full of energy. Most people never heard this stuff. The harmonic overtones in the second one remind me of Bach's Magnificat, (whatever those early trumpet thingys were... cornets..I think). You can only imagine what these sound like with a really great sound system.

Ths IS embarrasing, but whoever wrote the orchestrations for ABBA, is the all time musical genius, in Bucky's book.
These flutes, and woodwinds sound exactly like Beethoven.

I don't really find it embarrassing to have liked something then that I don't like now. This girl used to be my favorite:

Bucky!!!!! Damn you!

I am leaving today on a 1000 mile car trip...if ABBA is stuck in my head all the way to the east coast, I am blaming you. Geez Louise. Tongue

See here they are, the bruises, some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

When Donna Summer died, I had heard of her, but never listened to her. Was following some links, and found this. Pretty funny, not bad music either.

I'm about 10 years older than you, so I probably liked it for different reasons than you. Blush

Shit that reminds me I haven't dosed my testosterone in a couple of days. ... Might need to double-dose after that.
