So I've been seeing this guy on youtube in the comments of a lot of videos lately. He makes a lot of claims about Neo darwinism and how it's failed. Seems fairly well versed in what he does. So for those of you who are more informed on Evolution than I, could you take a look at his videos and give me your thought?

Meh, I have a nose to pull here... maybe later

Can you give the best one?

At work.

I must admit, from but a simple sampling, I get little but incoherent ramblings....

Much cheers to all

Let’s see…

OK, bats and birds both have wings therefore biological homologies disprove common decent. Dismisses convergent evolution as an explanation out of hand. I’d say fuckstick isn’t worth arguing with, but if you insist ask it to explain the distribution of endogenous retrovirus insertions in the genomes of primates without evolution.

My trolldar alarm is beeping. I am guessing the OP is the Youtuber in question. Consider

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

No, I don't own the channel. I just have next to no knowledge of evolution outside of what I've seen on documentaries, so I didn't know what to think when I saw his counterarguments.

RE: Iceages14aces
Well if he's using the argument that bats and birds both have wings, therefore there's no proof for common descent, then he has no business talking about biology on the intertubes Big Grin

It's not like these two kind of wings are much alike...

Same bones -> common descent

used in a different way in bird and bat wings -> wings probably evolved separately

It's not that difficult

It's really not. Some people just don't get it though.
