If God were proven to exist...
How would you react?

Would you become a theist?

Would you become an antitheist?

Would you worship?

What else would you do?

Which god? Consider

Dionysus?

It depends if he, she or it was the only god and if he or she asked to be worshiped and basically what kind of god they were.

Deliberately left that an open question - figured someone would ask the question you did but thought most would go with the Jebus God....

I don't really believe in worship. I would want to know as much as I could about the deity. I think if it were the christian god I would observe all the rules and customs but I would be really unhappy about it.

The worship question definitely is different depending on God.

If the evidence is there and clearly proven, I would believe, but I wouldn't worship it just for being a deity. Not if it was a despicable deity, and who knows if it even desired worship... which always is a bizarre religious concept.

I would wonder why did it take so long and why now is the great reveal happening.

Would I become a theist...gawd would have to do some serious explaining to even make me think about it.

I am only antitheist now when it comes to religion being shoved down my throat - I think that would remain the same.

Worship - he needs to fix some shit before I would even say thanks.

If there's proof I would have to believe but I don't have to adore and follow.

So what would I do if god X was proven to exist?
I'd become a theist, to an extent.

I'd recognise that whatever god existed did indeed exist, but I wouldn't worship the deity.

RE: If God were proven to exist...
If said god did exist, what would happen if I chose to continue not to worship? Is there really hell or hades? Then it would be fear based all over again. Could I just live with ignorance is bliss in this instance? Not sure I could worship something that if the alternative is fear if you don't; though if there is not an adverse consequence to not worshiping, then there still wouldn't be a need for a god. So, probably not. I'd have a lot of questions before I would consider worshiping.

I tend to ask random questions, sometime stupid ones, but I can almost guarantee I'm smarter for asking than not.
