I'm a great fan of Coursera and edX courses. They are MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). They are offered by top universities around the world. They're short. They're high quality.

You can follow the course according to the set-out schedule. Alternatively, you can download ALL material and work your way through as you wish.

And they are FREE. You can pay for a verified certificate, but you can also simply follow the course.

If one is interested then Jerry Coyne and his book "Why Evolution is True" also is worth a read.

Origins, the Coursera course, is in week two. It's still not too late to start it. It's interesting because it's not just evolution. It covers the origins of the universe and our solar system too.

If one is interested in learning about origin of the universe then Lawrence Krauss and his book "A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather than Nothing" also is worth reading.
