Feel sad, but remember the good times.

A little bit of her lives on her children and grandchildren. So you carry her genes in you..........but more importantly for you right now, her legacy is the precious memories she leaves with you.

I'm sending you a hug, its a tough situation and there are no easy answers. It sounds like its time to make memories and to appreciate every visit and every interaction, and to leave nothing unsaid and also to understand that while you can prepare for the actual death you cannot prepare for the feelings of loss. In my experience these have to be dealt with as they arrive and are unique to each person. Stay in touch on here and do not feel afraid to vent/ voice how you are feeling, the people here are some of the nicest and supportive you will find anywhereHug
