Thanks, Kim. I have seen Brian Cox on a few doco's and he's very good.
Would you be talking about Brian May from Queen by any chance?? Tongue

Both... hair and all. Wink

Actually, I guess Prof. Cox is more of a particle physicist... close enough. Tongue

I was originally going to say something, but he let us know he was high. So, no harm, no foul.

It appears derailment is in full gear, so I will say what made me click on this thread.

Q: Do you know when Baseball was first mentioned in the Bible?
A: When it says, "In the Big Inning."

It was just a fucking apple man, we're sorry okay? Please stop the madness Laugh out load

RE: In the beggining.....
In the beginning man created god...

I wonder how it all kicked off, the Big Bang has its flaws but so far it’s the best theory out there.
But if it happened once, it’ll happen again.
If it happens again, will it follow the same or similar path?
Would a new earth be flung out of the new sun?
If life has kicked off on this planet this time will it kick off again next time?
Will the dinosaurs be killed off again?
Or will the first mass extinction never happen to give the dinosaurs the chance?
Is it totally random? With (close to) infinite room and endless time will all possibilities be played out?
Have all the possibilities been played out in this incarnation of this universe?
Is reincarnation real and we all get to do this again in Universe II, The Return Of The Same?
Is this already Universe II? Or III? Or more?

Ha ha great thoughts and what ifs.

As we sit here pondering.....mere specks on itself the tiniest of specks of a planet in an infinitly massive universe (of which there could be an infinte number of).....trying to work out what life around us is about.

I think our current perceptions of time/mass dont mix well with infinity and will forever hold us back from tryin to understand it.

For no matter how much I use these symbols, to describe symptoms of my existence.
