Ideas are your response to the external world and your internal response to it. No one see's the same tree.
That tree can change over time, just like your ideas.

Where do the ideas you've read and agree with begin, and where do they give way to what you have taken upon yourself to believe on your own? Are our beliefs ours, or are they compiled from the thousands of views and opinions we're exposed to on a daily basis?

I am trying very hard not to just pick a commonly held view. The way I see it is that the reason there are so many different opinions out there is because people are not satisfied with all the previous ideas.

For example, I am unsatisfied with Christianity because they preach about a God which is basically a porn addict. They think all God cares about is the sex in this world and who is doing what. Basically, since they claim God is all powerful, then every sin a human could possibly think up was predetermined by God.

So I take a different view that God is neither omnipotent or omniscient, and he made a terrible mistake creating humanity. Sadly, my idea still doesn't offer the answers I need.

I am definitely a skeptic, but I can't call myself an atheist because I believe in a creator. Also, I need a God who can destroy religion since I hate it as much as anyone else here.

I don't know if my ideas are my own or not but I have never heard of anyone else's matching mine.

My belief in God is mine.

One time I saw a puppet in a play that was not controlled by a human.

Now I believe that a giant puppet in the sky controls us all with little strings attached to our backs that are invisible and have direct access to our brains and the giant puppet in the sky controls our ideals through the strings on our backs traveling through our brains and outwards we project these ideals until others pick up on them but they too are connected by strings so none of our opinions really matter in the world that is the puppet masters' realm.

I think I'm pretty much alone on this one, but you could group me into the nutjob category.
