I guess it would depend really...are they vegan? How long have they been a vegan?

Carnivores and some omnivores don't taste very well.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

That is actually true. I had a shank of lion once and it was horribly gamey and foul.

Roasted tarantula leg is good, assuming it's big enough to have meat inside like the one I tried in Venezuela. If it liquifies stuff before it eats, though, I guess it doesn't technically eat meat, but drinks it.

I'm ashamed to admit I've tasted lion penis.

It was yucky.

I did see tiger penis wine in China once, but I don't drink.

Closest I can come is Rocky Mountain oysters (bull testicles), which kind of remind me of fried clam strips.

A friend gave us the lion meat. The penis was later, but it didn't have the balls attached.

Husband had the raccoon -- I think it was in a sausage. We also had the wild boar sausages which were good...I didn't care much for the rattlesnake.
