RE: In your opinion, will mankind ever invent the perfect religion?
I guess also the core question here is: Can humans invent a religion that perfectly matches secular values.

Well, no. Secular values change as we learn more about ourselves and the world. Religions are essentially static in the sense that their holy books are static. They can only evolve by ignoring larger portions of their book over time. And being perfectly secular what do they then have to offer? What countercultural message do they have to offer a society whose values they perfectly match?

So unless you are willing to call humanism a religion it seems like religions can't fulfill that role. The role can only be filled by secular values thought leaders who in fact are the ones advancing the state of secular values, not those who are lagging behind trying to keep up while keeping one eye on passages from an old book.

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

As long as the religion is based on absolute thinking and self-righteousness, probably not.

Are the furries a religion?

If there is ANY religion like this, let me know. What is your opinions on this?
what makes you to believe that this would be perfect religion?

It was a one pump chump, that poster is likely not coming back to respond ever.

It's simply because those are his ideals of what would be perfect in his view of some creator existing that no other religion actually is accurate about.

Well that's Bacchus or Dionysus and I'm SURE other cultures have gods of those elements as well.
