I found this on a support blog today. It could actually be pretty helpful.

A poster made by The Spanish organization ANAR Foundation (Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk) started a new street poster campaign that uses the process of lenticular printing to secretly send a message to abused children without alerting their abusers, even if they are walking together.

Anyone over 4’5” sees the normal view of the child, with a caption: “Sometimes, child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it.”

Anyone shorter sees the beaten child version of the poster with another caption saying: “If somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you.”

I thought it was pretty cool. Big Grin

Cool. I thought that the poster was saying you should really pay more attention to a child to see if he/she gets abused, because most we can't see it if we don't watch hard enough. But this concept is cooler

I don't really like going outside.
It's too damn "peopley" out there....

I know. I really enjoyed it. I grew up in an abusive household until my parents finally divorced.

Just seeing an effort to affect things like this makes me happy. It can't be stopped, but the people being abused can always be helped.

Seen that on the news a while back and the douche on TV
Talking about it was complaining that it will cause false abuse claims
Destroying the family unit....rant...rant
Seemed like he had something to hide or a proactive case of Stockholm.

That is an interesting concept to say the least, but I question if it would be all that successful...

You'd be surprised at how easy sneaking can be when you're very desperate and you actually think it through.

I wonder the same thing. It's still a pretty interesting idea, though, and the effort and originality is admirable.

You'd be suprised how the fear of a beating takes any hope and planning away

I'm quite aware. I've been there.

I don't think I have ever seen words more true. It's making tears come to my eyes. I wish that when I was young something could be done about abuse, instead it was seen as family business and no one else's concern. No

Very glad that there is help out there now.

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy
