Thanks!

If you don't want banned then don't post spam or porn and don't threaten people. You can even be vulgar, and shout political non-sense and try to convince us why reptilians are Jesus incarnate and Muhammad is the devil if you want. I can't say you will get the response you want, but you can pretty well do as you please. Just to prove I'm not lying...

Cunt, Balls, Madonna, Tits, Shit! And just for good measure, Jesus-Lizard!

Laugh out load

In my book there are a couple of religious characters (being American, she couldn't have a book with no religion, so the vampires have their own deity, called Scribe Virgin (!!!) who is the daughter of god and also has an evil brother called Omega... not really sure where Jesus fits in... he's their half-brother I guess... or brother from another mother...)

Anyhow, one of them wears a cross and the author calls it "his Jesus piece"... Both this and yours sound like a name someone might give to their penis Laugh out load

Now record this and post it as an audio file. Everybody loves a Scottish accent (and by everybody I mean myself. Everybody else is just figments of my imagination, right? Right.)

Welcome Smile

No, I'm pretty sure everyone does....except that time I got a Scotsman for IT support for my router, that was pretty damn brutal. Hillbilly vs. Scottsman, urgh! In any event Billy Connolly's voice make every movie at least 15% better.

Hi I am from North Carolina and have been an atheist for around 20 years. I stumbled upon the podcast a few weeks ago and love it! I download and listen to them at work over the last couple of weeks I think I have caught up with them all. Nice to find some like minded people out there.

RE: Introduce Yourself HERE!
I'm Adam,

I was raised Lutheran (Lutheran grade school, middle school and high school except for a short 1.5 year stint in public grade school), but never grasped Christianity in childhood. The big "discovery" in my life was "Christian science" by the way of Kent Hovind and to a smaller part, Ken Hamm. I was quite convinced that what they said was true which led me on a difficult path of merging my difficulties with Christianity and the "realities" of Kent Hovind's work. I began developing non-religious theories for his claims and down-playing my religious upbringing (since I found it embarrassing). I saw myself as a person torn between the structures of the belief I was raised in and the lack of logical continuity of those beliefs. Everyone I knew seemed to fully believe and understand what they were taught. I thought I was not smart enough to grasp the concept, despite everyone telling me that I was one of the most intelligent people they had ever met. My parents (in a desperate attempt to find out why I was so defiant to religious school) had sent me to multiple Christian Psychologists (which had all administered IQ tests and scored me genius or close to, depending on the tests) were flabbergasted at my defiance to conform to the norm and get good grades. The Psychologists all determined I was bored in class and needed more of a challenge. They might have been right to decide that I needed more of a challenge, but I think the biggest problem I faced growing up was a lack of a judgement free place to voice my concerns about the religion (which tied into everything I was learning) where I could get these things off my chest. I held all of these things in until later in life when I met a guy, went on a 3 year long drug bender with him, got out of that bender with him, and came out with a boyfriend (soon to be "Domestic Partner") as a well adjusted homebody with a "finally" realized disbelief god.

Thanks all who read this for hearing my story.
