Introduction

Hello.

Just a little about me: I'm 41 years old, and probably stopped believing around 10 years ago, though it's really hard to tell exactly when. Around that time, I found myself getting constantly annoyed listening to Christian responses to questions from atheists, feeling like their responses were really weak and obviously flawed, but thinking that there's probably a really good answer out there somewhere, even if I couldn't think of what it was. Eventually, I just gave up trying to make excuses, and tried not to think too much about it anymore. At some point, when I'd see an argument between a Christian (or any other religion) and a skeptic, I'd start jumping in on the side of the skeptic, and that's when I started to acknowledge to myself that I was really an atheist.

There's more to my story than that, of course. There's the 30 or so years leading up to it. But, let me feel out this place a little bit first and see if it's worth telling.
