RE: Introduction by Burgos
Thanks for mentioning that Bonana Fanna. The whole book is really interesting. This guy went undercover, so to speak, to a lot of these religious/political gatherings including some up in Alaska where Sarah Palin's church would speak in tongues. Palin broke into local politics through this church that help set her course to be one of the most popular radical conservatives out there. Blumenthal has got the dirt on a good many of these neo-conservative fundamentalists. And more than that, he exposes the vast connections between religion and the conservative movement in a way that really opens your eyes to what's happening behind the scenes in American politics. It's a must read.
