I'm smelling a closet and someone's in it, if your mind went straight to Stark and Erx. Drinking Beverage

But don't worry, closets are nice, cozy places (unless there be spiders there).

You must be some tea bagger nut job.

Corporations spend a lot of money on lobbyists, they don't do this just for the fuck of it, they do this because it works and this allows the corporations to have a lot of influence over domestic and foreign policy, meaning that policies are shaped and appeal to the benefit of the capitalist class.

How in the fuck do you think the U.S. is socialist?

Right, but if the Government gets handed money for essentially free, they are going to take it- Corporations are ultimately the result of socialism, as socialism creates the biggest gaps in power between rich and poor, the more lefty USA has become, the larger the divide and bigger corporations get. Look at Russia before it turned to socialism, the soviet oligarch's had more power than the monarchs ever did and I do not need to tell you about the hundreds of millions that have been killed due to socialism.
Corporations turn a system into socialism? What planet do you live on?

The classic "but they have killed millions" argument. Oh the steady but ready classic.

Let me guess.....I am going to mention the millions killed by capitalism then you either won't accept any evidence as good enough and/or you will simply ignore the millions killed by capitalism, you are in good company with the other capitalist loons.

No, since capitalists have no real desire to kill people, since people alive are more profitable than those that aren't. Generally two people exchanging goods and services voluntarily don't want to blow each other up - it seems that world peace can only be achieved by free trade. If I have a good employee, I want him/her to stick around for the right reasons. Peace is at the end of profit from free trade and negotiation. Everything else is evil/violent/whatever.

Exactly why I came in. Someone should spread the word. Make posters even. And I think cheerleaders may be in order.

According to you the U.S. is capitalist.... Care to provide any info to prove your point?

And what planet do you live on in which capitalist nations never invade or kill or bomb other nations?

How did all those military bases get to be in all those countries? Did they just pop out of someones ass one day?

Capitalism is not political, it's anti-political by definition. Capitalism is simply trading voluntarily for profit.
