RE: Is God an atheist?
I would think as arrogant as he would have to be he would believe in himself, thus making him a theist. What I love about how silly this all is, even if there were a god, how would he know he was the all-powerful god? Wouldn't he be skeptical too? Wouldn't he wonder where he came from? Maybe he would be an atheist after all. Wink

Check out my atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

According to the Scriptures there is no reason to believe that God is atheist.
God Son of the Bible said that He has His God and His Father in Whom He believes. So, God Son is not an atheist but theist.

He takes himself as his own deity, therefore he is a Satanist.

RE: Is God an atheist?
By logical necessity, god is an agnostic.
  • God is omniscient and omnipotent, or at least smart enough and powerful enough to appear that way.
  • As a result, god is aware the he can rewrite any mere mortal's mind utterly and completely making it believe whatever he wants.
  • Further, god must entertain the possibility that he is also a mere mortal whose mind has been altered to believe that it is god and whose every apparently divine whim and power is being provided by an external agent and that, if his mind has been tampered with, he will never be able to determine if that is truly the case or not.
  • God must also be aware that this external agent need not be The Creator or even a deity, merely a sufficiently advanced sentient with very good capabilities for neural manipulation and a penchant for pulling the wings off of flies.
  • Consequently, god cannot be certain if god, or any god, actually exists.
God is so powerful that he can't be certain of his own existence. This is what you get for playing with infinity without reading the manual first.

omniscience and agnosticism are mutually exclusive. You can't be both.

You can if some things cannot be logically known. If god chooses to forget something then omnipotence should grant him that capacity. Omniscience should prevent it. You have to love those infinities.

RE: Is God an atheist?
if something is unknown by a being then that being is not omniscient. It might work to say that omniscience itself is logically impossible.
